Eurowebtainment Lineup Set

The seminar and event lineup has been set for the Internet and telecom trade show Eurowebtainment, taking place Oct. 18-20 in Berlin, Germany.

The main focus of the event’s two days of seminars will be a number of workshops, lectures, and discussions devoted to mobile business.

The first day of lectures will feature panelists Bango’s Stephanie Juergens, who will speak on alternative revenue possibilities with mobile networks; Christian Kammler of Four2Be, who will offer attendees information on options for selling mobile content; and Rainer Stein of Carmunity, a company that offers business services for SMS, mobile streaming, content systems, and audiotext.

The second day of seminars will continue on the mobile market focus and legal aspects, including information on email marketing, advertising law, affiliate commitment, and domain and trademark law. Attorney Marco Dörre will speak on those topics.

YNOT Payment President Bob Rice will conduct a webmaster workshop on marketing in the U.S., Michael Lantzen will speak on webpage design and layouts for newbie attendees, and Frank Kiel’s workshop will cover a roundtable discussion on mobile payments versus mobile multimedia.

The second day of seminars and workshops will end with a live roundtable discussion on tips from a variety of industry experts.

The show’s speed-networking event returns on Friday, Oct. 19, for a two-hour event that stresses business-to-business relationships. A special webmaster forum will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

Attendees for the expo include international and local content producers, content providers, webmasters, payment providers, and print and TV media professionals from both adult and non-adult sectors.

The show will be held at Estrel Berlin, Europe’s largest entertainment and hotel complex. The hotel features more than 1,000 rooms and suites, five restaurants and two bars, a beer garden, and a daily live-music show. The event is one of the largest in the international online and telecom industry.
