Dreamgirl Announces Marketing Initiative With Disney Internet

Dreamgirl International has announced the expansion of its marketing initiative with the Walt Disney Internet Group, which began approximately one year ago. Dreamgirl licensed Disney Internet to create Dreamgirl-branded videogames and Dreamgirl videos to be sold via mobile downloads through wireless networks.

"We are proud to partner up with such a world-renowned organization as the Walt Disney Company to launch Dreamgirl proprietary content through wireless services," said Dreamgirl Chief Executive Officer Christopher Scharff.

Dreamgirl reported the content to be "among the most popular of all Disney’s mobile content, with initial sales exceeding industry expectations." Apparel industry observers cite this as the first time a lingerie firm has made its copyrighted images available in various forms to wireless internet subscribers in the form of products such as "wallpaper, videogames, and videos" for mobile telephones.

"Our organization continues to execute its business plan across all product categories and in all markets," cited Scharff. "I am extremely proud of our management, employees, sales representatives, distributors, and vendor partners for their dedication and hard work in pursuit of our goals and vision."

Dreamgirl International is one of the fastest-growing lingerie, dancewear, and costume manufacturers in the world, with 12 U.S. sales representatives and more than 20 international distributors. In the past three years, the company more than quintupled its sales, with growth expected to exceed 40 percent for its 2007 fiscal year.
