VAN NUYS, Calif.—Digital Playground on Tuesday announced that its content would be immediately available for download on the newly unveiled Apple iPad. Digital Playground has long been a consistent frontrunner in technology and content delivery and is the first in adult to announce compatibility with the device.
As a member of the Apple Developer program for the last decade and specifically the iPhone developer program since its inception, all of Digital Playground iproperties automatically sense whether or not the user is using an iPhone, iTouch, or iPad and customize the experience on the fly. Digital Playground said that users who purchase an iPad will note the seamless integration between the desktop, laptop, iPhone and iPad.
The company indicated that all videos and interactivity have been optimized for use on each device, including true High Definition streaming. Digital Playground offers this automatically on all company owned websites including digitalplayground.com and jessejane.com. iPad users will automatically get the HD experience while iPhone customers will get the standard definition videos optimized for that format.
