Darklady Seeks Free Speech Coalition Board Nomination

PORTLAND, Ore. - Theresa "Darklady" Reed, operator of Darklady Productions Inc. and editor for YNOT.com, is seeking to serve on the Free Speech Coalition's board of directors.

Darklady, who is seeking nominations from eligible FSC members, said her goal is a passionate defense of the adult-entertainment industry, the sexual rights of mutually consenting adults and the free exchange of ideas. With board seats opening up, she said, now is the perfect time to put her money (and that of her travel sponsors) where her "ever-so-opinionated mouth" is.

She said her background has given her "exceptional organizational and diplomatic skills" that would be useful as a member of the FSC board.

Darklady is a longtime contributor to Adult Video News magazine, Web radio personality, free-speech and alt-sex activist, and a two-time Libertarian political candidate.

She has served as a three-year board member for the GLBT Portland Area Business Alliance and a liaison to the adult-entertainment industry for the Woodhull Freedom Foundation. She said she has "spent 17 years online," including time as sysop of the Church of Unholy Love's bulletin-board system.
