DRMPod, a specialist in providing DVD download-ready sites, and Zyloco, a gay adult movie studio, have launched Zyloco.tv. The database-driven site offers video previews, links, and integration with the studio's DVD store.
Zyoloco.tv is one of the first "partnered studio" projects to be released by DRMPod, although the company expects others to join the fold.
"We have had more than 10 studios already sign up [to use our services]," explained Cristian Gold, president of DRMPod parent company Gold Access, which also owns the gay adult affiliate program DaddyCash. "As others are launched, they will be announced."
According to Gold, DRMPod's DVD-download sites do not use a cookie-cutter template, making each site unique. DRMPod takes its time to work with the studios, their offerings, and their branding, in order to design a customized site that attracts appropriate traffic and ultimately converts it into sales, Gold said.
He also said DRMPod can integrate its DVD download product into any website on a revshare basis.
"If the site has a membership in place, studios get 60 percent of what their content generates as opposed to the 20 percent or 30 percent that other sites offer," Gold said.
