Cybersiren of the Month: Jelena Jensen

Tall and stacked glamour model Jelena Jensen is a native Southern California girl who originally started modeling to pay off her college debt. Thank God for high interest rates because though she had originally planned to spend only a year displaying her fine assets, she’s now on year six.

Jensen has been named March 2010 Penthouse Pet of the Month, Cheri’s 2004 Tart of the Year, April 2004 Hustler Honey, 2010 XBIZ Web Babe of the Year, and was the very first Danni Girl in January 2006. She’s been featured in every major men’s magazine, including more than a dozen issues of Playboy’s Special Editions.

She’s also been the spokesmodel for Twistys.com, hosted Playboy TV’s Totally Busted, appeared in four Andrew Blake productions, and had a recurring role in Digital Playground’s Jack’s Playground series.

Highly motivated and intelligent, Jensen owns and manages her own site, JelenaJensen.com, and her affiliate program, JelenaDollars, by herself—a perfect combo of brains and beauty.

How did you get started modeling?

I worked in the industry before I actually became talent. I was the product manager and marketing manager for an online adult DVD retail site while I was in college. Part of my job was to set up and manage our booth at various adult consumer shows like AEE and Erotica LA. While at the shows, I got numerous offers to do porn. At the time, I didn’t want to do it so I turned all the offers down. I knew Vince Vouyer and he mentioned to me that I should do nude glamour modeling because I wouldn’t have to do hardcore with anyone. So he introduced me to a few people and the rest is history.

What photographers have you worked with?

Almost all of them, I’m guessing. When you’ve been shooting this long, you’ve worked with a lot of people in the business. I’ve worked with Suze Randall, Holly Randall, Stephen Hicks, Mark Lit, Dean Capture, Tammy Sands, Ed Fox, Hank Londoner, Ellen Stagg, Nicolas Sage … the list goes on.

How did you get started running your own site?

I had a webmaster at first but we parted ways after only six months. I couldn’t find anyone to run my site that would still allow me to retain control, so I took it on myself. I’m self-taught and I actually love running my site.

Explain the transition from solo photo shoots to hardcore girl/girl to now boy/girl.

I was doing softcore solo and girl/girl for years mainly because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in the future. So I was very careful with what I shot. Last year was the right time for me to start shooting hardcore. I actually did it the non-traditional route by shooting boy/girl first and then girl/girl hardcore. I only shoot boy/girl for my site and it’s all shot with my boyfriend, which just works out best for me. I’m more comfortable shooting this way because when I’m in a relationship I prefer to be monogamous with the opposite sex. I just recently started shooting hardcore girl/girl this year and so far it’s been a great experience.

What’s the most rewarding thing about running your own website?

I love having full control over my product and brand. My site fully represents me and it’s nice being able to do what I want with it.

If you weren’t a model and webmaster, what other career would you like to have?

I’d love to open a doggy daycare. I love dogs more than anything!

How do you plan to keep your website profitable in a tough economy?

I offer a lot of content for the price of my site. I update five times a week and I do weekly live shows, with live boy/girl shows being every other week. It’s the only place that my fans can interact with me on a regular basis and the only place that they can find my boy/girl content. I plan on making high-quality content and keeping up with the standards of the industry.
