SAN FRANCISCO – Cybernet Expo has announced the official lineup of parties and events for this year’s 12th annual – and longest-running – Internet show, set for June 25-27 at the Golden Gateway Hotel in San Francisco.
The lineup includes a couple new additions to the show for 2009, and encore performances for last year’s attendee favorites.
Returning to Cybernet Expo in 2009 are the extremely successful D-Money Presents Rock the Ball and Kink in the Kastle events, plus the Cybernet Expo tradition, Show & Sell Marketplace. New this year will be the Rackco Welcome Reception, YNOT Opening Night and Webbilling.com Speed Networking 2009. A valid Cybernet Expo badge and wristband will be required for admission to these events.
D-Money Presents Rock the Ball will return to the popular Red Devil Lounge, just a short walk from the Golden Gateway Hotel. Attendees from last year’s concert will be very pleased to hear that local San Francisco rock band Smash Up Derby will be performing again in 2009. Also on the bill will be another local Bay Area favorite, Notorious, named for the Duran Duran hit and performing ‘80’s and ‘90’s rock and dance hits. More information about Rock the Ball can be found at RockTheBall.com.
On the closing night, attendees are again invited to tour the largest adult studio in San Francisco by hopping on a bus and traveling to the Kink.com Armory Building for Kink in the Kastle.
The former headquarters of the California National Guard and standing at more that 200,000 sq. feet, the Kink Armory resembles a fortress and is larger than the Playboy Mansion. This is a chance to hang around Kink style, and witness live content shoots for some of the most popular fetish sites on the Internet. All Cybernet Expo attendees are invited, and there is no additional fee to attend.
Opening night is also packed with fun events for Cybernet Expo attendees. Gather with peers at the Golden Gateway’s sports bar on the lobby level and enjoy free drinks on Rackco.com at the Rackco Welcome Reception. Members of the Rackco staff will be handing out drink tickets, and important Cybernet Expo announcements will be made here as well. Then in the evening, hop on a bus bound for Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club for YNOT Opening Night. Admission is free for Cybernet Expo attendees, so hang out and be entertained by some of the sexiest ladies in San Francisco at the Bay Area’s most famous topless club. Additional transportation and admission will be provided to the New Century Theater for those who prefer a full-nude juice bar experience.
Also new this year, Webbilling.com brings Speed Networking 2009 to Cybernet Expo. Meet Cybernet Expo peers while exchanging business cards and making new contacts. Space is limited for this event, so those wishing to participate should inform registration staff at the time of badge pick-up. Speed Networking 2009 will take place on Friday, June 26 just prior to the final discussion panel of the day.
Cybernet Expo's Show & Sell Marketplace returns in 2009 for its sixth installment, offering a chance to browse various exhibit tables that features products or services of interest to adult Internet professionals.
Exhibitors will be handing out free giveaways as well, so attendees can pick up free promotional items while meeting exhibitors and learning about their goods and services. Also on hand will be author Damon Brown to sign copies of his book "Porn and Pong: How Grand Theft Auto, Tomb Raider and Other Sexy Games Changed Our Culture." The Show & Sell Marketplace will take place for three hours on Saturday evening, June 27, just before buses depart for Kink in the Kastle.
Register now for Cybernet Expo to lock in “advance” rates and also, reserve a hotel room as soon as possible, before the room block ends. Information on registration and booking hotel rooms for Cybernet group rates can be found on the event site .
