Christopher Mallick to Lampoon Porn in Mainstream Comedy

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Former Paycom CEO Christopher Mallick is producing his first feature comedy film through his production company, Oxymoron Entertainment.

Mainstream screenwriter George Gallo, a creative contributor to Bad Boys and Midnight Run, is slotted to write and direct the feature, which is titled Middle Men. Writer Andy Weiss of "Punk'd" will contribute to the script.

"I am really excited to be working with such incredible talents," Mallick told AVN Online. "Andy and I worked together in the past, and when we got Gallo on board, we sunk our teeth right into the material. We have a healthy script [and] rich characters, and we're casting now."

The independent film is in pre-production and will be shot in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Mallick said.

"We love the look of Los Angeles with all the lights, et cetera," he said, adding that the principal filming probably will take place in September.

Mallick said the film - which he describes as Boogie Nights meets Wall Street meets Thank You for Smoking - will focus on the exploits of a priggish businessman who enters the blossoming online adult industry.

"We're getting a lot of press, I think, because this film is a one-of-a-kind original," he said. "Initially, we were worried whether or not the mainstream community would embrace a movie like this, but they really took to it."

Middle Men is set to premiere in May 2009 at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

Mallick ended his five-year stint with Paycom in February 2005 when the company parted ways with ePassporte. After taking the helm at ePassporte, he formed Oxymoron Entertainment in 2007.
