VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Affiliate program MakingCoin has hired Donnie Adamson, aka Big D, as its marketing director and affiliate manager.
Adamson, who accepted the position last week and started Monday, said he is "really stoked about getting things rolling."
"I'm very excited to be attached to such a renowned company like MakingCoin," he told AVN Online.
"I have seen Donnie on the boards and around the adult industry, and one thing is for sure: If he is representing a company, he makes sure everyone knows it," MakingCoin owner Craig T., aka Coin, told AVN Online.
Adamson has more than three years of adult-industry experience in affiliate relations, marketing, sales and traffic management.
"After interviewing him and speaking to a few of his references, I knew that he could really help take MakingCoin to the next level," Craig T. said. "I am excited to have him on board, as he has experience in a lot of aspects of the adult industry that will help this company expand."
Adamson's responsibilities will include developing and maintaining marketing strategies, and stimulating and sustaining affiliate relations, traffic and sales.
"I will be in charge of everything related to marketing, traffic, affiliate management and sales," he said. "I will be going to shows to represent the company, working on some new and upcoming projects that MakingCoin and myself are going to lay out, sales and traffic deals with other sponsors, traffic generation from internal and external resources, and affiliate recruiting and management.
"I will handle some other program stuff from time to time, possibly some design and project management, as well as server setups and upgrades. It will be my primary focus to guarantee company growth and solidarity for both the MakingCoin affiliate program, its affiliates and future affiliates."
In addition to his duties at MakingCoin, Adamson plans to continue selling tattoo real estate on his arm for ad placement.
"I want the full sleeve," he said. "It's not something I'm going to just up and stop doing. The current ones are BangBros, Cavecreek CDN and Streaming, and Bluefly Adult. I have Netbilling, CuriousToyBoy.com, LatinTeenCash, Core Adult and a few others lined up to go on next."
