LOS ANGELES—Online magazine BaDoink posted a video to its site this week containing a crossection of people from the online side of the adult entertainment industry individually (or collectively, as the case may be) taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, the global phenomenon in which people from all walks of life and industries are raising funds and awareness about ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), usually referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
On the page it set up to host the video, BaDoink writes, "The adult industry is of course known for its propensity to get hot and wet. But thanks to the massive, worldwide fundraising phenomenon, the ice bucket challenge – which aims to raise both money for and awareness of ALS – certain members of the most fun profession on Earth decided to slightly tweak that focus of its fame to become cold and wet instead. Very cold, in fact. Very, very cold!"
Companies that took part in the organized ice bucket dousings include M Group Corporate, ICM Registry, PayServe, BrokerBabe, Goldkiwi Media, EuroRevenue, National Inkasso / Wecollect, Kiwisourcing, MojoHost, Live Cam Awards, Really Useful Cash Network, EroAdvertising, Affil4you, XCams Partners, Sex Goes Mobile, JuicyAds and BaDoink, whose CEO Todd Glider (pictured) closed out the video.
