ATLANTA - Web-based hosting solution company National Net will hold its Atlanta Forum webmaster conference from Sept. 18-21 at the W Hotel Perimeter Center.
"We really like the W hotels, which is why we reserved the entire hotel for this event," National Net CEO Tony Morgan told AVN Online. "They have very unique and exquisite suites with more room, service kitchens and all the amenities some other suites in other hotels sometimes lack."
The Atlanta Forum, billed as the "sister show" to the Phoenix Forum, is set to focus on business relations.
"The slogan for this show is ‘Meet the Business of the Business,'" Morgan said. "Our aim is not to make money, but to help our industry grow and prosper through the knowledge and information attendees acquire at this conference."
Morgan said the show's slate of seminars and forums will feature panelists from both the adult and mainstream business worlds.
"We want to address specific needs within our industry by calling on the aid of seasoned professionals," he said. "Whether it's a representative from a company that specializes in business training, accountants who know how to maximize your tax returns, or a keynote speaker who has vital information about employee relations, hiring [or] whatever, we want to get them there to share their knowledge."
According to Morgan, Atlanta's warm September weather makes for an ideal conference setting.
"You can't beat fall here in Atlanta," he said. "It's not brutally hot, but it is definitely warm enough to make poolside and outdoor activities fun. The local shops and businesses are also full of Southern charm and hospitality. Atlanta is a big convention town."
Morgan said he hopes to build the Atlanta Forum "into an industry staple."
The show is set to feature a variety of activities at the W Hotel and at local hot spots.
"Atlanta is known as one of the hottest spots in our industry, thanks to the nightlife and availability of fully nude strip clubs," Morgan explained. "Additionally, there are endless opportunities for shopping, clubbing and dining."
The conference also will offer a late-night breakfast courtesy of the Waffle House, a Southern favorite.
