MIAMI - Under a deal announced Monday, All Boys Video will be the exclusive distributor for all of newly formed production company Boykakke Films' DVDs through 2008.
Boykakke Films was spun from the Boykakke website, winner of the 2006 Cybersocket Surfer's Choice Award for best gay Asian content. The producers of the Boykakke line have filmed content for nearly a decade and own the affiliate program zBUCKz, and believe they are ready to take their content to DVD, co-founder DannyZ said.
"We are very excited about our new partnership," he said. "With great story lines, the highest-quality [high-definition] equipment and, of course, our signature smoking-hot models, we are becoming the Falcon or Bel Ami for the gay Asian niche. With having true industry veterans in the DVD market backing our material, we really feel we're ready to hit the streets full-throttle."
Rob Ragan of All Boys Video said the company was "very pleased to have what's, in my opinion, the hottest Asian films anywhere in our business."
The first Boykakke Films release, "Bangkok Dormitory Boys," is set to hit the shelves by the end of September.
