AdultFriendFinder Does Love Survey

PALO ALTO, Calif. - Men and women agree that love trumps politics when it comes to sex, according to a recent poll of more than 2,300 men and women conducted by online dating service AdultFriendFinder.com. Sixty percent of respondents said, “Sure” when asked if they can be intimate with a partner who belongs to the opposite political party. More than a 25 percent of those polled qualified their answers with “Yes, but only for sex and not a real relationship.” The following choices received votes from 4 percent of respondents: “No, I’d run as soon as I found out they were on the ‘wrong’ side’”; “No, we would argue too much”; and “Yes, if I thought I could convert them to my party.” “They say that ‘politics makes strange bedfellows,’ but based on this survey, I’d say love conquers even political tensions and may even make for more interesting foreplay,” says Legendary Lars, head of marketing for FriendFinder Inc., parent company of the intimate social network and community. The poll recently was taken among members of the AdultFriendFinder.com personals community, and men and women tended to be similar in their answers. The complete poll results can be viewed here.
