LOS ANGELES - Popular video-on-demand site Adult.com has been revamped with a new design intended to offer easier use and better content and searching.
"The new design was built to embellish the users' experience by being more accessible and user-friendly," Product Manager Reena Patel told AVN Online. "We now offer larger box cover displays, and users can employ our keyword or generic text searches to find the different categories, niches and performers they are looking for. Additionally, all our targeted content can be downloaded to own in seven different formats, with the ability to rank that content and bookmark it so users can cut and customize their own scenes."
Patel said membership includes unlimited downloading from the Adult.com library.
"The one-time download-to-own payment option is rarely offered with VOD sites, which are usually pay-per-minute," Patel said. "Generally, the content is old or leftover and is rarely updated, not to mention the quality is generally not there. We offer high-[definition] all the way down to iPod-quality, and all our content is exclusive."
Adult.com's exclusive content comes from studios such as Wicked Pictures, Club Jenna, Digital Playground and Spice Studios. The site also offers viral videos, TGP tools and feeds.
The site's payout is $40 per $1 trial, a recurring 50 percent revshare and 5 percent on sales from webmaster referrals.
Patel said Adult.com will offer webmasters a Nintendo Wii for every 30 sign-ups.
