POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Pimp Work has launched its bid-oriented marketplace, which puts adult-industry freelancers in direct contact with webmasters and businesses in need of their services.
Unlike many mainstream freelance marketplaces, Pimp Work does not take a commission on projects.
To celebrate the launch, Pimp Work will offer free memberships to buyers and providers who sign up during the promotional period.
Buyers can post projects in Web programming, design and copywriting, and freelancers can bid and compete for the opportunities. With many of the same features as those offered by mainstream freelance marketplaces such as Elance and Guru, Pimp Work aims to be the first to focus exclusively on the adult industry's buyers and providers.
Users can create buyer or provider accounts, which are free during the promotional phase of the launch. They then can browse the posted projects and registered providers, post projects for bidding or bid on projects posted by buyers.
Service providers, playfully referred to as "Hos and Pimps," can monitor their current bids and awarded bids. Once a job has been awarded, the provider and buyer can communicate through private messages.
Pimp Work offers unlimited bidding, and users do not have to purchase credits for bidding. Users' selected professions do not limit them to related categories, since all projects are open to all members.
Visit PimpWork.com to sign up for free membership during the launch promotion.
