PITTSBURGH—Online retailer Adult Empire today kicks off its second annual Empire Girl contest that asks fans to help select the best adult performer to represent the company for the coming year.
"Adult fans give us valuable insight into which stars they are interested in and who has a consistent fan base, which is often different from what we might see on social media," AE director of marketing Megan Wozniak said.
Round one of the contest places 50 of AE's top trending adult stars in the running, as based upon the site's leading sales. Round two voting will begin July 25, with a narrowed down field of 25 performers. Round three, beginning August 1, will narrow the field down further to the top 10 picks, and the final Empire Girl will be announced August 8.
The winner will receive a grand prize of $6,000, plus a four-scene exclusive showcase feature contract with AE Films. Last year's winner, Dani Daniels, was spotlighted in the Holly Randall-directed Dirty Daniels, which has become a top seller on Adult Empire.
"AE customers are genuine smut fans who pay for their porn," Wozniak continued. "What better way to welcome their wishes than to give them who they want to see in our next showcase movie?"
