Adam & Eve Donates to Breast Cancer Awareness

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. - Adam & Eve will donate 20% of profits from selected items sold on its website during the month of October to breast cancer research and health programs.

Following a record-setting year for the company with sales over $110 million, Adam & Eve expects the promotion to result in a substantial contribution to the cause.

"Adam & Eve has long been a good community neighbor," said Chad Davis, director of marketing. "We were voted Business of the Year in 2006 by our local Chamber of Commerce, and we contribute significantly to a number of causes... from local to international. Breast cancer affects everyone from every walk of life, and we are proud to do our part to help with research and health programs."

Products selected for this adameve.com promotion range "from mild to wild...for men, women and couples," according to a company press release. Each product is a shade of pink to tie in with the ribbons worn for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"Adam & Eve has always been about giving back," said Davis. "Our business started nearly 40 years ago as a condoms-by-mail ad, and we've contributed millions of dollars over the years to a number of worthy causes."
