AVN Awards Show Introduces Best Web Premiere Category for 2011

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—In an effort to recognize original and outstanding content production exclusively for the web, AVN Media Network has decided to add a category to the 2011 AVN Awards Show titled Best Web Premiere.

To qualify for a nomination in this category, the content must have debuted online between Oct. 1, 2009 and Oct. 31, 2010. The original content must be a stand-alone short or series that has been released exclusively on a website, independent from the site’s regularly updated content.

“With so much original content production debuting on the web, it’s really forward thinking to add a category that awards a company that’s putting resources towards developing a new and fresh audience via original content on it’s site,” AVN founder Paul Fishbein said.

All those wishing to submit eligible nominees must do so by emailing a link to the content along with a password to access it by Monday, Nov. 1 by 5 p.m. to Paul Fishbein at [email protected], Steve Javors at [email protected] and Tom Hymes at [email protected].
