LOS ANGELES – The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection will conduct a seminar at the upcoming Phoenix Forum in Tempe, Ariz.
The session, titled “Your Bottom Line & Child Protection: ASACP’s Tips for Adult Companies,” will take place Saturday, March 31. ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine will discuss strategies for adult companies that want to keep minors off their sites, protect their businesses from child pornographers, and send the right message to consumers, law enforcement, and government.
In addition, the third annual Phoenix Forum Golf Tournament will benefit ASACP, along with the Free Speech Coalition and Children’s Toy Drive 2007. The event will take place at the ASU Karsten Golf Course on Wednesday, March 28, the day before the forum’s official kickoff.
“We’re thrilled that ASACP will again benefit from the golf tournament,” said Irvine. “And, we’re happy that ASACP can also contribute to the Phoenix Forum by sharing our expertise and experience with adult companies and webmasters. We look forward to seeing everybody on the golf course, at the forum, and in our Saturday lunchtime session.”
ASACP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. The organization works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online.
