BURBANK, Calif.—The January edition of the semi-annual ANME Founders Show kicked off Sunday with vendors showcasing their plans for 2020.

CalExotics reps had plenty to crow about, as the manufacturer and its sister company, Jopen, announced several new releases and ranges.

Among the biggest announcements was a deal CalExotics inked with Scala to become the North and South American distributor of Private Tubes. The strokers have plastic cases and come in six SKUs for the Private Tubes—based on the anatomy of European stars Shona River, Jolee Love, Alexa Tomas and Tarra White (the latter with both vaginal and anal strokers)—and six To-Go models. The To-Go SKUs feature vaginal, anal and oral openings. The range also includes a Turbo Stroker.

CalExotics is releasing Private Tubes, with masturbators aimed at fans of European adult stars.

The big news from Jopen is the upcoming release of the Starstruck line.

“The line has four pieces in some really cute and functional shapes, and are named Affair, Romance, Fling and Fantasy,” explained Nichole Grossman, director of marketing for CalExotics. “Each piece comes with seven vibration patterns and five speeds for each pattern.”

The massagers have glitter accents at the base and the display stand also has glitter accents to draw in customers’ attention.

Hidden Pleasures is another new products line coming soon from CalExotics.

“Is it a pen? Is it lip gloss or lipstick? It’s actually a powerful vibe in a slender case,” Grossman said. The slender metal vibe comes with a magnetic charging base and is available in red, gold or black.

The Glam bullet vibe promises fierce power in its oversized body. Available in four colors, the Glam will retail for $49.99.

Also coming is the Link Up collection of gender-neutral rings, two of which deliver vibration patterns and a third that boasts a thumping feature.

Some popular ranges are getting additions soon, too: Mini Marvels has two new items coming soon; California Dreamin’ will soon get the Valley Vamp, Laguna Beach Lover and Newport Beach Babe; and French Kiss will see the addition of two new items.

The Shameless is being billed as a sex machine that fits in your hand. Available in single-shaft and dual-stimulator versions, the Shameless stimulators thrust up to 850 times per minute.

Lube Tubes also got an update with new colors.

“The Lube Tubes and Ultimate Douche items are consistent best sellers for us,” Grossman said. “They now come in new colors for a little bit of an update: blue, purple and orange.”

Also getting a lot of buzz in the booth is the Naughty Bits range, a fun collection of products developed for a younger demographic. With products names such as Fuck You, Fuck Me, Bad Bitch and more, the vibes feature fun graphics and unique decorative patterns and really capture attention on shelves.

The Screaming O booth showcased the LoveBuzz vibrator, and even offered a photo booth area for attendees to get a snap with the street art-inspired graphics of the vibe.

“The art is from James Goldcrown; his bleeding heart motif,” said Screaming O’s Hui Newnham.

The bleeding hearts are meant to convey a positive attitude toward intimacy, Newnham said, with can be seen as a bit of a pivot for Screaming O, traditionally known for fun and whimsy.

“But the concept is in line with our ethos,” he said. “That intimacy can be fun, exciting and inviting.”

Also new in the booth is the latest version of the company’s popular rechargeable panty vibe, now with a silicone wrist strap for the remote control. Also, Newnham said, the remote is compatible with all other remote-controlled Screaming O products.

In the Sliquid booth, reps showed off the newest items in the collaboration between the lubricants manufacturer and trans activist Buck Angel.

“The T Collection is not just about sexuality and sexual wellness products, but also grooming products specific for the trans man’s body,” explained Erik Vasquez, Sliquid’s marketing director.

The range now includes a T Wash, a vaginal-friendly wash formulated for those who who are using more testosterone during tradition, and even a beard oil for those who develop and need to care for facial hair.

“Many people who are transitioning consider it a badge of honor when they start growing facial hair,” Vasquez said. “This product helps them care for that new hair growth and keep it neat and conditioned.”

“We really consider ourselves lucky enough to be able to work with Buck, who is such a profound voice for the trans community,” said Sliquid expert Michelle Marcus. “And we are honored that he chose us as a partner to help carry his mission and vision through.”

In the NS Novelties booth, reps were busy showing off the new Stardust range to buyers and attendees. The anal plugs and bullet vibes—with names like Charm and Posh—sparkle and shine thanks to tiny Swarovski crystals in the pieces. Stardust products come in white, blue, pink and black.

Rear Assets is another new range coming soon from NS Novelties. The anal plugs are chrome-plated so they have a cosmic rainbow effect or stunning metallic rose gold look, and colorful Swarovski crystals in the bases really catch the light for more fun.

System JO has new flavored arousal gels coming soon: the Sweet Berry Heat, a water-based kissable formal with strawberry flavoring; and Mint Chi Chill, also water-based and kissable, with a rolling sensation.

Also new are the 2toTango kits, which pair a warming lubricant for one partner and a tinging lubricant for the other that are meant to help increase orgasm satisfaction for both.

Additionally, new flavors were announced for the Gelato line, which lets users “Become the Dessert”: White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle and Decadent Double Chocolate.

Doc Johnson was also a major presence on the show floor in the main ballroom, and welcoming its newest production partner, Motorbunny. Reps from both companies were on hand to debut the Vac-U-Lock Sex Machine. The piece combines the powerful ride-on vibrator from Motorbunny, with the always-popular Vac-U-Lock system of dildos.

Motorbunny and Doc Johnson collaborated on the Vac-U-Lock Sex Machine.

Along the new machine, attendees were treated to a wall of strokers from the Man Squeeze and Main Squeeze collections. New performers and social media stars molded for the lines include Chad White—the first straight male performer molded for the Man Squeeze line—and Karlee Redd, star of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta and resident certified sexologist for the manufacturer.

“We also used some existing molds from previous strokers to create new Main Squeeze strokers,” explained Megan Adams of Doc Johnson. New versions include Jenna Jameson, Julia Ann and Cherie DeVille.

Also attracting attention in the manufacture’s booth is Bloom, a new intimate body pump. Available in purple and teal, the Bloom comes with various attachments to stimulate different parts of the body.

“There is one for the clitoris, two for the vulva and one for the nipples, but they can be used on any area of anyone’s body,” explained Ryann Brooks, marketing coordinator for Doc Johnson.

Bloom comes with seven suction patterns and seven vibration patterns, which can be used separately or in a number of combinations,

The Good Head range will get a new pack of three warming glides in Watermelon, Strawberry and Cotton Candy. There are also a Slick Head Glide and two new party kits coming soon to the line, too.
