LOS ANGELES—Intimate wellness brand Wicked Sensual Care turns its Retail Employee Spotlight this month on Melanie Miles of Fantasy Gifts in Turnersville, New Jersey.
Miles first joined Fantasy Gifts in 2019 and returned in 2023, earning her stripes as a shift lead and extending her passion for the brand beyond the store's walls by promoting it at her local bar during sexy game nights. Yet, her journey has not been without its trials. Diagnosed with stage three ovarian cancer in June 2022, Miles confronted the disease with remarkable fortitude. Enduring several rounds of chemotherapy and facing the prospect of a prophylactic double mastectomy due to her BRCA gene status, her spirit remained unyielding. “Just keep on going" is her go-to mantra, and it epitomizes her resilience in the face of adversity. As a survivor, Miles' appreciation for health and wellness runs deep.
