LOS ANGELES—Wicked Sensual Care is featuring David Brasseaux of Adam & Eve Houston – Montrose on its Retail Employee Spotlight in its monthly newsletter.
"I was looking for a second job and thought to myself, ‘where would I not mind being at work and working every day,’" said David, reflecting on his initial foray into the adult retail space. “I applied here first [at Adam & Eve in Houston - Montrose] and got the job!”
The store is located at 1111 Westheimer Road in Houston.
Thanks to Brasseaux and his co-workers, the store’s staff has earned the nickname The Dream Team in rave reviews on Google, Yelp, and Facebook, with one five-star Yelp review stating, “Sierra, David, and Tyler, or shall I say the ‘The Dream Team,’ are simply the best! They are very knowledgeable and their vibe gives great energy, especially for a person like me that didn't know anything. So whoever their manager is, please know you have a rare trio. They should be acknowledged, because in my heart they are rock stars. I love you all!”
In its announcement, Wicked Sensual Care wrote “Brasseaux’s naturally friendly disposition, upbeat personality, and ability to engage others in conversations is reinforced by a resilient work ethic and a willingness to go the extra mile to deliver an outstanding customer experience.”
“I would say my specialty is reassuring people that yes, we do in fact know what we're talking about. We are always here to help them when they're hesitant to ask for assistance,” he said.
Because he knows how frustrating it is for customers to be interacting with a sales representative who doesn’t understand their needs, he tests and studies new releases so he can provide support that comes from a place of experience and understanding. “What I like the most about my job is getting to learn about all the new stuff coming out and educating myself more about the products.”
