LOS ANGELES—Sexual wellness brand Wicked Sensual Care today announced that it had selected a new Retail Superstar to showcase in its monthly Retail Employee Spotlight, the initiative honoring extraordinary retail staff employed in the pleasure products industry. John Miskinis of Adam & Eve Houston, Texas (Montrose location) has been chosen from the submissions received during the month of August.
Whether it is for exemplary work as a sales associate, an educator, a trusted problem solver, or a gifted customer service specialist, each month a superstar is interviewed for the Wicked Sensual Care newsletter. John's ability to engage new patrons has made him a valued member of the Adam & Eve family. "My specialty is making customers feel comfortable," he said. "It is often a very awkward situation, telling a complete stranger your most intimate sexual wants or needs. It’s my job to not only guide them in the right direction, but also to make them feel as comfortable and confident as possible."
For John, the salesperson’s job is not only to inform and support but also to ensure that every customer enjoys a comfortable shopping experience. "My favorite part of my job is helping a customer pick out their first sex toy. There is something so special about how much your first vibrator changes your life and awakens the ability for sexual expression and passion. I still remember my first toy from ages and ages ago. Helping someone start that exciting chapter in their life is so rewarding for me."
For the month of September, those working in the retail sector of the pleasure products space are invited to nominate all employees who continuously exceed expectations and deserve recognition for their ability to position themselves as product and industry experts. A superstar may be nominated by sending their name, store name, location/city, store social media handles, and a brief paragraph about why they deserve to be a superstar (photograph optional) to [email protected].
