LOS ANGELES—Pleasure Chest, Ltd. has announced that Victor Tobar will be taking the position of National Director of Retail and Purchasing.
In his new role, Tobar will join the core national leadership team in a new capacity, working directly with the owner, Brian Robinson, and Head of Business Operations, Sarah Tomchesson, to oversee the day-to-day operations of the purchasing and retail departments.
In addition to teaching Sex Ed for over a decade, Tobar has spent the past six years with the Pleasure Chest as Manager of Pleasure Chest’s Upper East Side New York location, and most recently as National Buying and Merchandising Manager. Prior to joining the Pleasure Chest, Tobar worked in sex toy retail since 2005 with Babeland. After leaving Babeland, Tobar entered the non-profit sector while attending City University of New York and studying Biology—an extension of his passion for the human body, healing and sex education.
“Victor’s extensive experience at the retail store level, sales and event savvy, and highly developed leadership skills, make him a perfect fit to lead our store and purchasing teams. I look forward to Victor’s increased input in our national initiatives, leadership development, as well as our sales and events strategy,” said Sarah Tomchesson.
