Vibratex Announces Winners of Magic Wand Day Display Contest

LOS ANGELES — Vibratex, the sole North American importer of the Magic Wand brand, recently designated May 20th as Magic Wand Day. In honor of the "magical day," Vibratex ran a tattoo-themed retail display contest — and the winners’ list has been revealed.

Pepper’s Parties, Too in Hattiesburg, Miss., was named the first-place winner, followed by Adam & Eve’s St. Augustine, Fla. location in second, and Adult Video Megaplex in San Antonio, Texas sliding into third.

“The Magic Wand has been a staple at Pepper’s for over twenty years, so when we heard about the contest, we knew we wanted in,” said Lindsey Pepper, Pepper’s Parties, Too’s store manager. “And, it gave me a reason to dress up like a Magic Wand and make a Tik Tok!”

“I knew we would be going up against some tough competition, and honestly, I was mentally preparing myself for the loss. When I opened the email and saw that we had actually won, it was an incredible feeling!” she continued. “I have to thank our amazing staff for going all in and absolutely killing it! The dedication and loyalty our staff has is truly humbling, and I’m incredibly grateful to have them on our team!”

Winners received a set number Magic Wands for resale and a cash price to be shared among store staff. The prizes amounted to 24 Magic Wands (6 of each SKU) and $1,000 for first place, 12 Magic Wands (3 of each SKU) and $750 for second place, and eight Magic Wands (2 of each SKU) and $500 for third.

“I bought my Original Magic Wand 20-plus years ago, and I really do use it as a back massager. There’s not a single item on the market that has the power and durability of the Original Magic Wand,” Kathi Pepper, owner of Pepper’s Parties, Too, said. “I want to thank our staff for their creativity and dedication for making these videos! Great job, ladies!”

And because the cleverness was just too much to contain, Vibratex gave "highly honorable mentions" to Fantasy Gifts in Turnersville, N.J. and Natural Mystik in Natchitoches, La. for their "amazing adoption" of the brand’s tattoo theme.
