Tenga Reaches Milestone With 100M Units Shipped

TOKYO — Tenga Co., Ltd. has announced that its sexual wellness brand “Tenga” has reached a milestone of 100 million units shipped worldwide as of December 2021.

To celebrate this achievement, the brand has created a limited edition commemorative design of its most popular product, the “Tenga Cup," available globally via a giveaway on their global Twitter and Instagram social media accounts.

The Tenga company was established in March of 2005, launching the Tenga brand on July 7, 2005 under the concept of “Bringing Sexuality to the Forefront, For Everyone to Enjoy” with a range of five hygienic masturbators—the Tenga Cup Series. The brand sold more than one million units in its first year alone. In 2007 they launched globally, starting in neighboring Asian countries and then the USA and Europe soon after. The Tenga brand now has more than 200 products in its range, and is available in more than 70 countries worldwide, alongside growing Tenga Group brands “iroha” and “Tenga Healthcare."

The brand’s most popular item by units sold worldwide is its trademark red and silver Original Vacuum Cup, followed by the item’s original limited-edition luxury offering, the Premium Tenga Cup, and the Tenga Egg Series of stretchable, non- cased masturbators that accommodate most sizes.

To celebrate this milestone, Tenga has made a special commemorative Tenga Cup, adorned with a design reminiscent of the Tenga Rocket that was launched earlier in 2021. The item comes in a set alongside three popular variations of the Original Vacuum CUP – Standard, Gentle and Premium. The set will be sold in very limited quantities in Asia, but is only available globally through a giveaway on the brand’s global social media accounts.

Tenga is giving away its commemorative 100 Million Cup on their official global Twitter and Instagram accounts. Twenty sets will be given away to winners drawn at random from applicable campaign entrants.
