System JO, Sex with Emily Conduct ‘Dream Lube’ Survey

LOS ANGELES—How do you top a lubricant line that tastes like gelato? That’s the challenge for System JO, which recently launched five delicious lubes in its Gelato line. Now they’re planning to create the ultimate “Dream Lube, and they’ve turned to an expert for help.

Several months ago, the team at System JO asked sex columnist Emily Morse a seemingly simple question: What would be your “dream lube?” As the founder and host of Sex with Emily, Morse praises the virtue of lube to hundreds of thousands of listeners each month—but with so many uses and options, picking an ideal product would be a tall order. After that conversation, System JO and Morse agreed to pose the question to her audience in the form of a comprehensive consumer survey.

Morse will continue to collect responses through the end of November. Sex with Emily podcast listeners and website visitors have provided over 800 responses to date, with a projected sampling of at least 1,200 before the survey concludes. To participate, go here. As an incentive, System JO is providing ten prize packages to randomly selected respondents. And they have also committed to producing an all-new formulation based on the collected feedback.

The survey presents participants with questions covering sexual preferences, lubricant usage, and buying habits. Additionally, the team is collecting demographic and consumer profile information that will help both companies better serve their respective markets.
