LOS ANGELES—A simple question posed by Cards B last month led to major sales of a dietary supplement created by the Cousins Group.
The rapper queried Aug. 24 on her Twitter account, “Ladies have you ever tried the Pink Pussycat pill? What ya think about it?”
Pink Pussycat is a capsule with a proprietary blend of herbs designed to heighten sexual sensations and deliver better vaginal lubrication and more intense orgasms.
It’s not clear what prompted Cardi B to ask about the pills, but shortly before her post a video had gone viral on various social media platforms where a woman describes in detail her experience with Pink Pussycat.
Pink Pussycat is from Cousins Group, the same company that produces carious pleasure products, including lines of toys from Alexis Texas and Bonnie Rotten and the Pornstar Signature Series of strokers.
Company reps reported in the days and weeks after the Cardi B post, sales increased dramatically; normally the company moves 100,000 units per month, but now they are shipping 1 million a month.
