Protest Trumpcare By Sending a Vibe to Congress

NEW YORK CITY—Unbound Box, a pleasure products subscription service created by a group of women friends in New York, is ready to help people protest and voice their displeasure over the American Health Care Act/Better Care Reconciliation Act by sending a vibrator to members of Congress.

The AHCA, also known as Trumpcare, would repeal portions of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), weaken protections for patients with pre-existing conditions, defund Planned Parenthood and much more. Surveys show the majority of Americans are opposed to the act, and many are writing letters to, calling and visiting members of Congress to voice their opposition. Now, Unbound is helping with another form of protest that will benefit Planned Parenthood at the same time.

With the Vibes for Congress program, participants can send a $15 along with an educational pamphlet on women’s health to specific representatives. For every $15 purchase, 75 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Planned Parenthood.

“You know, that little organization that has been busting butt to provide access to health care for 1 out of 5 women in the United States since 1916,” the description for Vibes for Congress reads.

Protestors can enter the address of their congressional representatives, or handpick a name from the provided list. Unbound Box suggests sending vibrators to members of Congress who have expressed support for Trumpcare.
