LOS ANGELES—Playboy, the lifestyle brand owned by pleasure and leisure lifestyle company PLBY Group, Inc., today announced the release of its Valentine’s Day lingerie collections now available on Playboy.com and in the brand’s retail location at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles. Of note, the collection includes the “Miss February” five-piece set as a nod to the Playboy magazine cover from February 1991. In the company’s post-magazine era, the lingerie releases mark the continued expansion of Playboy’s owned-and-operated apparel. Since November 2022, Playboy has launched lingerie, denim, velour and sleepwear.
The “Miss February” five-piece set includes a push-up plunge bra, corset, garter belt, thong and babydoll shorts, each featuring a heart and rabbit head custom embroidery on optic white mesh and adorned with ruffle edge detailing. The pieces range from $33 to $135.
“The Playboy Valentine’s Day Cherry Bomb collection continues to explore the Playboy Lingerie ethos of innerwear as outerwear. Drawing on the brand iconography of the rabbit head, we are offering three key collections: the Icon collection has been updated with a heart motif and a metallic foil, our new Mini Bunny set with custom-engineered scattered rabbit head embroideries and our Miss February collection,“ said Jason Mahler, PLBY Group vice president of design. “The Miss February collection was inspired by the magazine's iconic February 1991 cover. The collection comprises five mix-and-match pieces that can be worn for an intimate night in or a playful night out. To round out our offering we have updated our core essentials collection with seasonally relevant shades of cherry red and candy pinks.”
Playboy previewed its Valentine’s Day lingerie collection at a party at The Fleur Room in Los Angeles earlier this month which was attended by Landon Barker, Beck, and Charly Jordan (who played a special DJ set). Editorial images from the event can be found here.
