LAS VEGAS—Adult online retailer PinkCherry, which owns and operates a warehouse less than a mile from the site of the recent Las Vegas shooting tragedy, announced it will donate its sales to benefit those affected.
PinkCherry will donate all of its sales from Friday, Oct. 6, to support the victims and their families. The money will be used to help with immediate and long-term needs of the victims of the Oct. 1 shooting.
Company officials announced 100 percent of sales up to $100,000 will be donated.
PinkCherry is working with the National Compassion Fund to ensure all funds are distributed directly to the victims. The National Compassion Fund provides a single, trusted way for the public to donate directly to victims of a mass crime, such as a shooting or terrorist attack. Donations to the Fund are held separately from general donations to the National Center for Victims of Crime.
