Nick Orlandino, Former Head of Pipedream Products, Passes Away

LONG ISLAND, NY—Nick Orlandino—who served as the CEO and chairman of Diamond Products and its companies Pipedream Products, Sir Richard’s and Jimmyjane in the pleasure products side of the industry and Devil’s Film on the movie side—passed away Jan. 3.

The cause of death was not immediately available.

Orlandino got his start at the age of 15 in the adult and gift industry unloading trucks for Forum Novelties in New York and eventually worked his way up to general manager. In 1992, he relocated to Los Angeles and joined Pipedream Products as vice president of sales and marketing. In 1994, he became a partner in the corporation and ran all day-to-day operations at Pipedream.

Orlandino and his companies Giant Media and Diamond Products consistently made headlines in adult and mainstream publications for his acquisitions in the novelty and movie sectors of adult. 

He also founded the ANME Founders novelty trade show in 1996, and in 1999 he started a four-year term as treasurer for the Free Speech Coalition.

Orlandino, who also was an accomplished musician and performed in several metal bands throughout the years, retired from the pleasure products industry in 2018 after more than 35 years in the adult industry. After that he relocated from the San Fernando Valley back to his hometown of Long Island, N.Y.
