New York Academy of Sex Education Offers Full Slate of Classes

NEW YORK—The New York Academy of Sex Education has packed its spring/summer calendar with diverse classes on the anatomy of pleasure, with sessions on body image, relationship building, ability and disability, parenting and many other core topics related to sexuality.

Ducky DooLittle, the academy’s education coordinator and lead sex educator, has spent the last two decades working in the field of sexuality. She is an author and sex educator as well as a certified emergency room sexual assault and violence intervention counselor. DooLittle has been instrumental in building public sex education learning programs for New York City's Museum of Sex and the feminist adult shop Babeland. She presents internationally at conferences, universities and community centers around the world.

When speaking of the upcoming class schedule, DooLittle notes, “Workshop topics vary. I believe the teachers we have brought together will deliver solid, factual classes with some titillating and subversive twists. We deliver learning experiences. We get your brain and heart thumping. We reaffirm what you know, give you fresh ideas, loads of inspiration and then we send you off with an eagerness to explore what you have learned. The homework we give you will leave you tickled!”
