Lovers Introduces New Rewards Marketing Program, Lovers Afterglow

AUBURN, Wash. — Lovers, the sexual wellness retailer and brand, on Monday introduced a new rewards marketing program, Lovers Afterglow. This omnichannel program features a comprehensive offering of rewards. 

The launch is just one of the notable introductions the company has made in the past year. CEO Barbara Cook joined the brand in 2019 on a mission to reignite the 40-year-old Lovers brand. She previously held senior leadership positions at global brands T-Mobile, Gap and Starbucks.

The Lovers Afterglow loyalty program boasts the following features:

•Referral Program: Give $10, Get $10: Members of Lovers Afterglow can earn points for referring a friend to Lovers. Lovers Afterglow Members earn 20,000 points/$10 discounts when their friend spends $50 or more on loversstores.com. The friend receives $10 off their order/sale.

•Points Earnings: Lovers Afterglow members earn points that turn into discounts for future purchases. Spend $1 = 100 points. 10,000 points = $5 discount; 20,000 points = $10 discount, etc.

•Other ways to earn:

•Join the program: earn 10,000 points/$5 on your next purchase

•Product review: earn 2,500 points for each verified buyer review

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Lovers, which was founded in 1981 by Phyllis Heppenstall. Today Lovers has 41 stores in five states: Washington, Oregon, Texas, Tennessee and California.
