Indiegogo for Nikita From Trigger Happy Toy Launches July 30

LOS ANGELES—An Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for the Nikita—a pistol-shaped silicone dildo created by artist Nika Cherrelle—is set to go live on Sunday, July 30.

The piece, originally created in 2008 as a part of Cherrelle’s sculpture series addressing violence and sexuality, was part of the Trigger Happy Series, “a playful and politically politically distinct collection of works that subverts weaponry into pleasure products,” Cherrelle said on her website.

The Nikita measure in at 9 inches long (6 inches insertable) and 5.5 inches high. It is made from silicone, which means it is hypoallergenic and easy to clean and care for. The piece is firm yet flexible, and quickly warms to body temperature.

The Nikita also is designed for use as a harness-free strap-on, by inserting the base of the grip into the vagina.

The dildo will be created by Trigger Happy Toy.

“Our products are designed to spark the imagination and bring both excitement and humor to the bedroom. Through our work we hope to empower and inspire women, men and couples to better enjoy of their sexuality and their sex lives,” the company’s website, TiggerHappyToy.com, reads.
