LAS VEGAS—For the last time, the International Lingerie Show opened its exhibit hall to representatives from the lingerie and pleasure products industry in the Rio Hotel and Casino. The Spring 2017 show will move to a new location at the Westgate Hotel Las Vegas.

Pleasure products took up a decent amount of real estate on the show floor, with many manufacturers showcasing their newest items, or supporting their distributors.

Perennial favorite Vibratex once again had a booth, and wowed attendees with the Rechargeable Magic Wand and the Mystic Rechargeable. Eddie Romero explained that while the Rechargeable Magic Wand has been available for more than a year, it’s still a big hit with retailers and consumers alike.

“The growth has just been phenomenal,” he said. “Our retailers tell us they just love selling it. It gives more than just two speed options, and is just another way for fans of the original to enjoy the Magic Wand.”

The Mystic Rechargeable was announced by Vibratex earlier this year, and is now available and ready to ship, Romero said. The lightweight wand-style massager, which comes in black, offers six functions, but the real draw is its intuitive design. There are a total of three function buttons on the handle—one on the front and two on the back—so one can easily be accessed no matter who is holding the massager and no matter which position they hold it in. Romero noted the entire massager is coated in silicone over the ABS plastic body to give it a softer feel. The Rechargeable Mystic also comes with plug-and-play capabilities.

Entrenue, another longtime exhibitor of ILS, saw owner Joe Casella celebrating his 10th anniversary of owning the boutique distributor. The booth’s shelves were stocked with the latest in luxury and unique products, including the b-Vibe Trio—a slimmer version of the b-Vibe Rimming Plug, which is available in purple and black and boasts all the features and functions of its predecessor.

Entrenue also was one of the exhibitors showcasing the new Sola collection from Blush Novelties. The new line features wellness and passion products, including the Sola Egg, a large egg-shaped massager that comes with interchangeable silicone sleeves in various shapes; and the Sola Sync Wand massager, available in purple.

Entrenue also debuted two new sales reps at the show, Christine and Kalie.

Shots America was also on the show floor, showing off its top-selling collections, including the Brown Collection—BDSM lines crafted on a creamy-looking brown leather—and the Vive line of massagers and vibrators with rose gold accents.

Xgen Products showcased not only a new booth for ILS, but also a number of new collections and products. The distributor is expanding its Superhero collection of panties by adding themed corsets, bustiers, bralets, panties and pasties. Also new in the booth is LateX Wear, which features thigh highs, panties, mini dresses and more in black or red latex. Fundies for Him and Fundies for Couples are boxed sets of novelty underwear such as the Choke the Chicken Thong or the Black Tie Tuxedo Set for couples.

Speaking of sets, Xgen’s Bodywand Sets will soon include the 6 Pc. Holiday Bed Spreader and the 8 Pc. Under the Mistletoe sets, just in time for the holidays.

Adult distributor Eldorado has representatives from several manufacturers in the booth to showcase products and collections to buyers, including System JO, which recently debuted its Gelato flavored lubricant line. According to Eldorado rep Maria Lara, the Dancing Pearl Rabbit vibrator from Evolved Novelties was a hit with buyers. The rabbit-style vibrator has four beads that travel the length of the shaft as opposed to rotating around the middle.

“People are really responding to this vibe,” she said. “It’s unique and really selling well.”

In the Nalpac booth, Tracy Tinsley noted that the distribution company recently marked its 45th year, and celebrated with a warehouse show. She said the brands and products that received the most attention were on display in their booth for ILS. Lining the booth’s shelves were the new Midnight collection from Sportsheets, the Callie line from Jopen, BDSM products from U.K.-based Rouge Garments and more.

Other manufacturers impressing attendees included Femme Funn, which attracted attention for its new, extremely powerful bullet vibrator; and Impulse Novelties, whose Black Door and Closet collections have been a consistent hit for retailers and consumers.

PHS International showed off its new Hearts Afire collection, which features pasties, clamps, cuffs, floggers and more in a black-and-red color scheme.

“We have an end-cap display that retailers really seem to love because it makes an impact without taking up too much space,” said company rep Crystal.

Another hit in the booth was the Be the Gift holiday campaign, which features Bijoux de Nip pasties that have a more ornamental feel to them in an effort to allow wearers to make themselves a gift to a loved one or partner.

Representatives from epi24, makers of the Womanizer pleasure product, were also on hand at ILS. The new versions of the popular product continue to impress buyers and consumers alike.
