NEW YORK - According to online gadget guide Gizmodo.com, there is a new software application that turns the iPhone into a vibrator.
The iBrate application is included in Installer.app, a third-party installer application available through iBrickr for PC users and AppTapp for Mac users.
"Installer.app has a big list of applications," Gizmodo Senior Associate Editor Jason Chen told AVN. "That's where we found it. "
According to Chen's write-up on Gizmodo, iBrate has one function: It turns the iPhone into a vibrator. "To control it, all you have to do is hit the one button," Chen wrote. "To stop, hit ‘stop.' Simple."
Chen also included his wish list for version 2 of iBrate, including a bigger start/stop button, variable speed and intensity, and pulsing action. He also listed video and/or music playback while vibrating as a useful next step and suggested a less likely upgrade: a laser show.
