SAN FRANCISCO - Twenty years after its initial printing, Cunt Coloring Book has seen renewed popularity, according to adult publisher Last Gasp.
Associate Publisher Colin Turner told AVN Novelty Business the coloring book sold as many copies in 2007 as it did in 2005 and 2006 combined.
"We did our ninth run of the Cunt Coloring Book in 2007," he said. "We're almost sold out just over a year later and getting ready to print our 10th run."
Turner attributed the book's resurgence to stores owned and operated by women, such as the upscale Los Angeles boutique Coco De Mer.
"Coloring books are extremely hot right now," he said. "And we've seen design-book boutique stores, as well as adult stores, really embrace this book."
