LAS VEGAS - AVN presented Paradise Marketing Services an "Award of Excellence" earlier this month at the 2008 Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas for the company's 30th anniversary.
The event marks three decades of Paradise serving the adult business with category-leading health products, including condoms and personal lubricants.
Tony Lovett, publisher and editor in chief of Adult Novelty Business, presented Paradise Marketing Services the award for its outstanding achievement, innovation, continuing excellence and positive effect on the adult business as a whole.
"I'm so proud of what we've accomplished so far," Dennis Paradise said. "We have a great team. Their enthusiasm, professionalism and ethics have been the foundation of our continuing support from our customers. Helping our retailing partners understand that profits are built around strong products, instead of inflated profit percentages, has made all our businesses stronger. We're most humble and proud to accept this honor."
"Working for Paradise Marketing has been like getting my own MBA," said Ken Eckert, the company's vice president of sales. "Learning how to promote our customers' best interests by helping them increase their inventory turns, category management, results in increased bottom lines for them and stronger customer loyalty for us. It's been quite a learning experience."
Lovett said he also has learned from Paradise.
"Dennis is a walking encyclopedia of information about our industry, and I owe him a debt of gratitude for his generosity in sharing that knowledge with me," he said. "ANB is proud to be able to honor Dennis, Ken and Paradise Marketing on this momentous occasion."
"We are happy about our past, but our focus is definitely looking forward," Paradise added.
