BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. —Ever since its first store opened in the early 1990s, Hustler Hollywood has become an iconic retailer of health- and pleasure-related merchandise—and now, the newest branch of the chain has opened its doors for business at 3775 Citadel Drive North, marking the thirty-fourth store for the nationwide chain and the first in Colorado.
Hustler Hollywood has signed a 10-year lease with options to extend and has spent over $1M to renovate the 6,000 square foot location, which will add 12-15 jobs to the local economy. The company has been pursuing an aggressive expansion plan since 2016 with its boutiques designed to be intimate, sophisticated and curated with only the finest, top-selling sexual health and wellness products on the market.
“We have been searching the state of Colorado for the last four years looking for the ideal location to launch the brand, and are very excited about Colorado Springs. We look forward to a long relationship with the city and its residents and are pleased to announce that this will be the first of many locations for Hustler Hollywood in Colorado,” said Philip Del Rio, VP of Retail.
There will be a celebration event for the boutique on Friday, January 31, at 7 p.m. with drinks, games, and giveaways. The event is free and open to the public.
Hustler Hollywood is part of the forty-five-year-old global Hustler empire founded by Larry Flynt, who, throughout his career, has been involved in numerous legal battles regarding the regulation of free speech in the United States. In the most prominent of these, he won the milestone 1988 U.S. Supreme Court case, Hustler Magazine, Inc. v. Falwell, after having been sued by Reverend Jerry Falwell for a 1983 ad parody. Hustler magazine has published monthly since 1974 and recently celebrated its forty-fifth anniversary.
