LOS ANGELES—Hustler Hollywood has begun to reopen its chain of stores, with select locations now open to the public for limited hours and a handful of additional stores offering curbside service.
The announcement comes after the adult retail chain closed all of its 34 stores last month due to restrictions prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Hustler has been the leader in the sexual health and wellness arena for over two decades advocating and encouraging free sexual expression for all and encouraging the exploration of intimacy and enhancement of relationships, along with personal pleasure,” said Philip Del Rio, vice president of retail. “That is what we do, and if we can provide customers with a safe way to obtain our products while isolating during the COVID-19 virus, then we are happy to continue doing so,"
Stores currently open are in Colorado Springs, Dallas, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Saint Augustine and Tallahassee.
Among the stores set to reopen next week are in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Nashville, New York, North Miami Beach, Las Vegas and Tacoma. Other stores will reopen thereafter.

As part of the reopening, each Hustler Hollywood location has been sanitized and will be regularly cleaned and disinfected per Centers of Disease Control guidelines, as well as offering a hand sanitizing station upon entrance. Face masks and social distancing will be required of all customers and only a limited number of people will be allowed in stores at any one time.
Store employees will wear face masks and gloves and customers will be encouraged to use credit cards for all transactions.
