Industry veteran Angela Mustone has started a new venture with the founding of Love and Beauty Products Inc., a Montreal-based company that creates high-end sensual cosmetics with hemp-based ingredients.
Love and Beauty Inc. launched October 2018 and already boasts two brands: High on Love and Dr Papa.
“Both product lines offer high-end sensual cosmetics made right here in Canada,” Mustone told AVN. “Dr Papa was designed for the Chinese market and High on Love was made for the rest of the world.”
High on Love has already created two product lines, one with hemp seed oil and a Luxe range that contains CBD and THC. Each product under the High on Love umbrella are designed and created by a team of women.
Known for hydrating and skin-nourishing effects, hemp seed oil is used as the base for High on Love products, which include massage oils, bath oils and chocolate body paint.
“We started off with our hemp seed oil line because hemp is legal and sold in many different forms all over the world,” Mustone said. “As hemp seed has a great reputation for being nourishing, hydrating and calming; we thought it would be a great active ingredient to launch our first line and introduce High on Love to the world!”
Mustone noted that the Luxe line is available only in Canada at present, because current “non-consensus laws and regulations of THC/CBD from cannabis in North America, along with the stigma of cannabis (especially THC) in society, impedes the launch of our second line.”
All of the High on Love products are manufactured in Quebec, Canada, and are curated by Mustone herself.
“I have a long history selling novelty products in the adult industry and chose the best-selling ones to start the line,” said Mustone, who previously worked with CalExotics and Shunga Erotic Art before that. “We will be launching a High on Love lip gloss soon and other products are in the works! I am super excited to be expanding my line and feel so humbled by all the support High on Love is receiving from clients, consumers and the media even though we are a young brand.”
Currently, the product lineup features five products. There’s the Dark Chocolate Body Paint, which is made with natural ingredients and packaged in a heart-shaped glass bottle with its own paint brush; and the Sensual Bath Oil, which releases a lavender scent in warm water. The Sensual Massage Oil comes in two scents—Strawberry & Champagne and Lychee Martini—and is lickable and kissable. Stimulating O Gel for Women is a water-based product manufactured in small batches; it is designed to stimulate sensitivity to help create a satisfying physical sensation and experience. And the Stimulating Orgasm Oil is crafted to assist those experiencing vaginal dryness, discomfort or decreased libido.
Mustone created Love and Beauty Products Inc., and the brand High on Love, to empower women to explore and embrace their sensual side.
“The amount of heart that was put in making these products … I really stressed on using the best ingredients for my oils and gels as it is being used in many different intimate areas,” Mustone said. “I also went all out in the packaging because I wanted to deliver something beautiful and really appealing … a product you want to show off on your nightstand!”
