‘Get On Top’ Author Opening Sex Health-Themed Pop-Up Shop

NEW YORK—To celebrate the release of her book Get On Top, Meika Hollender will open a sexual health-themed pop-up shop April 17-22 on Bowery in New York.

In addition to being an author, Hollender is also the CEO and co-founder—along with her father Jeffrery—of Sustain Natural, makers of a nontoxic vegan condom line and natural, nontoxic intimate care products for women.

The pop-up shop is set to feature panel discussions, art installations and more. Planned for inclusion are an anonymous vulva selfie booth, a bathtub filled with tampons and a “coochie counter” with condoms and other items for sale.

““It will be similar in vibe to the Museum of Ice Cream, but all sex and vaginas: very whimsical, over-the-top and bold,” a press release for the event reads.

Hollander is using the pop-up as a “tour of the book” as opposed to conducting a traditional book tour. Each day of the pop-up will highlight a different theme that ties into a chapter of Get On Top.

Get On Top is an actionable guide to help women take control of their sexual health and get information in a pro-pleasure, safety-first and sex-positive way.
