LOS ANGELES—Fun FactoryUSA has announced its newest recruits, Joe Curtis and Emilie Rosanvallon.

Curtis has been named CEO and as such will be responsible for managing the overall operation of the USA company.

Rosanvallon has been hired for sales and communications.

“We are committed to our American customers and believe that Joe and Emilie will help our U.S. team (comprised of Memo De la Vega and Patty Carmone) and serve them in an extraordinary way. I look forward to the growth and improvements Joe and Emilie will bring to the U.S.operation,” said Dirk Bauer, president and founder of Fun Factory.

Curtis brings 15 years of management experience to the Fun Factory team. When asked about his intentions with regards to Funfactory USA Inc. and its recent transition, he said, “My goal with Fun Factory is to bring to the market a level of customer service absolutely unsurpassed by any company. My emphasis will be on exceeding customer expectations on both a business and consumer level and establishing Fun Factory as a top brand in the U.S.”

In addition to his career, Curtis is also a chess competitor and a passionate martial artist.

Rosanvallon is French-American. She attended Vassar College in New York, where she studied sexuality and sociology. After graduating she worked as a sex-positive performer and promoter, working with the circus in San Francisco before founding her own production company in her hometown of Paris. A skilled comedy improvisation artist, she conducted communications trainings for executives in Europe in 2009 and then went on to work full time for a consulting firm as a crisis communications specialist, advising top-tear multinational companies such as DANONE and Veolia.

When asked about her recent career shift, she said, “Everything I’ve ever done always had to do with three things: sex, fun and communication. This is my dream job.”

Fun Factory will be represented at the AVN Novelty Expo (booth # 200), July 7-9 at the Pasadena Convention Center, as well as the ANME show.
