PARIS—Privately held French intimate cosmetics company Exsens announces a new line of FDA-approved, water-based personal lubricants. The product launch coincides with the kickoff of Exsens’ 2018 “Real Women” campaign.
Operating on the prediction that the global water-based personal lubricant market is poised to grow at a rate of 7 percent per year through 2020, Exsens introduced its new line of water-based lubricants to meet demand and create a formula that would exceed consumer expectations.
Known for using natural ingredients and concocting signature flavors, Exsens builds upon its reputation with the introduction of Raspberry Lubricant, Aloe Vera Lubricant (made with organic aloe vera extract), and a Pure Aqua option for those who like to keep things simple. All of the lubricants are water-soluble and gentle enough for sensitive skin. The vegan formulas, both paraben free and phenoxyethanol free, have received 510(k) clearance by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Exsens Lubricants are non-greasy and non-staining, unlike some silicone-based lubes. And unlike some water-based lubes currently available on the market, Exsens Lubricants are non-sticky, resulting in longer-lasting performance and shorter cleanups.
Exsens North American Brand Manager Rebecca Pinette-Dorin said, “Lube is the new black! Women today know that lubricant can enhance the sexual experience. A product that used to be taboo to speak of or use has become quite commonplace. With growing awareness comes the need for high-quality sexual wellness products with natural ingredients that consumers can get excited about. At Exsens, we are excited to help fill that need with a ‘real lube for real women.’”
Made in the South of France, Exsens manufactures a full line of vegan, body-safe, paraben-free products. All packaging is sourced in Europe and is BPA free.
Exsens Water-Based Personal Lubricants are now available for order through Eldorado and Entrenue in the United States, or Vice Distribution and EP Distribution in Canada.
