BROOMFIELD, Colo.—Adult products distributor Eldorado Trading Company has named Derek DalPiaz as director of sales.
In his new position, DalPiaz will be responsible for driving business sales by working with customers, suppliers and the Eldorado sales team.
“Derek’s business knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset to the company,” said Eldorado CEO Wanda Garland. “His Six Sigma expertise will be influential to employee morale, customer service, and of course, revenue.”
A Colorado native, DalPiaz graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Business and Computer Information Systems. He also earned an MBA in Management and Operations from the University of Colorado, Denver. He comes to Eldorado with extensive professional experience in both manufacturing and wholesale distribution. DalPiaz is Six Sigma certified, which means he is considered an expert in process analysis, reducing costs and increasing profits. Six Sigma is a set of business tools and techniques used by companies to improve production processes, eliminate defects and guarantee quality.
DalPiaz said he looks forward to getting to know the sales team and seeing which best practices will work well for Eldorado and the industry.
