HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. — East Coast News (ECN) announced today a special promotion and partnership for the month of November, also known as “Movember,” to promote prostate cancer awareness.
The company said that for the entire month, it will donate a portion of their sales on select products from Aneros, Bathmate, Calexotics, The Rabbit Company and Sir Richards to ZERO, the leading national nonprofit organization with the mission to end prostate cancer.
“As the global leader in prostate toys, health, and sexual health and wellness, it is important for us to be involved with a campaign like this,” said Brent Aldon, director of sales and marketing for Aneros. “We are very excited to partner with East Coast News to help promote prostate cancer awareness.”
ECN noted that “Movember” is a month where men grow out their facial hair to raise awareness of various diseases that affect mainly men, such as prostate cancer. Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths.
According to the "ZERO— The End of Prostate Cancer" website, it is “the leading national nonprofit organization with the mission to end prostate cancer. ZERO advances research, encourages action, and provides education and support to men and their families through our patient-centric programs. ZERO’s premier activities include the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk, America’s largest men’s health event series. 94 cents of every dollar goes to programs and activities.”
"ZERO is grateful for the support of our mission to end prostate cancer,” added ZERO’s Colony Brown, vice president of marketing & mommunications. “Sexual health is a priority for men with prostate cancer and their partners. One in seven men will get the disease during their lifetime and we are pleased to partner with East Coast News to share awareness and hope.”
