NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Media-manufacturer Doc Johnson is taking up residence at the New York City-based Museum of Sex.
“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with Museum of Sex,” said Krystal Silva, account executive at Doc Johnson. “From the brainstorm and original conversation with Museum of Sex, we hoped we could get Robin for this project, so to see it finally put up for all of Manhattan to see is incredibly rewarding. Working with the museum was such an easy and delightful process, and it’s exciting to see our relationship grow.”
For the partnership between the two companies, Doc Johnson is sponsoring a window display for one of its newest and most exciting pleasure products, Bloom. Bloom is a multi-function body pump with four interchangeable heads for use on all areas of the body.
“I am so elated to have this window featured here at MoSex,” said Kit Richardson, associate buyer and merchandiser at the museum. “It is a perfect demonstration of what can be accomplished when three institutions who believe in sexual freedom, sexual wellness, and creativity join forces. Working with Doc Johnson and Robin Eisenberg you really see how art, pleasure products, and sex all combine to create something truly badass and captivating. Bringing these pillars of the industry to the forefront and featuring them to all of society and 5th Avenue is what the museum is all about. I couldn’t think of a better way to launch Women’s Month here.”
The three-dimensional window display features artwork created by Los Angeles-based artist Robin Eisenberg, who has produced other gorgeous pieces for Doc Johnson’s iVibe Select line of products. The mixed-media art piece features a woman walking through a floral environment with the Bloom toy throughout. Its bright colors and attractive design are eye-catching and attracting the interest of passersby.
“We’re very proud of the result,” said Scott Watkins, vice president of sales and marketing at Doc Johnson. “This beautiful piece of art on display piques the public’s curiosity and drives people inside the museum to learn more about the product.”
Along with the window, Doc Johnson has a table inside the museum’s shop that highlights products such as Bloom, Tryst and other best-sellers.
The Bloom window will be up throughout the month of March at the Museum of Sex, 233 5th Ave., NYC.
