PAWTUCKET, RI—Today, "Giving Tuesday," is the day set aside to foster charitable donations, and was created by the United Nations Foundation and others as a response to the flood of holiday commercialization following Thanksgiving. In that spirit, the Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health (CSPH) has announced that it is collaborating with System JO as a fundraising partner for its “Giving Tuesday” campaign today. The intimate lubricant manufacturer will be matching donations, dollar-for-dollar up to $2,000, raised by the sex-positive educational organization, on this global day dedicated to champion charitable giving.
"We are endlessly grateful for System JO's generous matching gift pledge this ‘Giving Tuesday’,” said Kayla Wingert, Executive Director of the CSPH. “Our programs and services are made possible through the support of individual donors and partners like System JO. Gifts made on ‘Giving Tuesday’ will support CSPH programs, such as our twice-annual Sexual Attitude Reassessment, our national Study Sex College Tour, and our sex therapy services. We hope you will join System JO in supporting comprehensive, medically accurate, and pleasure inclusive sex education, by making a donation this ‘Giving Tuesday’."
“At System JO, our commitment to enhancing sensual experiences is our passion," added United Consortium CEO Mike Woolard. "That's why we're proud to support the Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health on ‘Giving Tuesday’. Since its founding in 2010, The CSPH has been providing pleasure-inclusive sex education across the country, and offering sliding-scale sex therapy services to low-income individuals and couples. We couldn't be happier to match gifts dollar-for-dollar made to the CSPH on November 28. Please give generously."
The CSPH is aiming to raise $4,000 in one day on “Giving Tuesday,” and System JO will match donations up to $2,000. The CSPH will also have giveaways to thank those who donate $100 or more, and donors will be entered to win one of 25 prize packages, which include System JO products, chocolate, and a CSPH tote bag.
“Giving Tuesday” is a part of a larger fundraising campaign the Center is running between November 21 and January 3, to raise $25,000 to support the CSPH's programs and services. Should the CSPH meet its overall goal, 20% of funds raised will be donated immediately in equal shares to three organizations: Life After Hate, the Women of Color Health Network, and Project Weber/Renew.

The CSPH is also asking donors to answer the question, "Why do you fuel sex-positive sex education?" on social media, using the hashtag #PoweredByYou.
Founded in February 2010, the CSPH is an educational organization that works to reduce sexual shame, elevate comprehensive sexuality education and support the growth of the sexuality field. The CSPH provides sex-positive sexuality education and cultural dialogue through a wide variety of programming, including workshops, performances, counseling, and events for community members; practical skill-building events, online courses, and classes for emerging and experienced professionals; and presentations for hospitals, medical organizations and at national conferences. The CSPH also maintains one of the largest sexual resource and media libraries in the northeast, available for public perusal.
The CSPH’s mission is to advance culturally inclusive, medically accurate, and pleasure informed sexuality education, therapy, and professional training.
