Products with cannabidiol, or CBD, are proving to be more than just a fad. CBD is a naturally occurring compound in cannabis plants that contains none of the psychotropic properties of THC (which causes the high cannabis is known for) and is heralded for providing relief for everything from chronic pain to anxiety to inflammation and more. CBD oil is showing up in drinks, foods, topical creams and much more, and according to the Brightfield Group—a team of data analysts and researchers—the hemp-CBD industry is expected to grow to $22 billion by 2022.
So it’s no wonder that adult-industry companies are looking to expand their offerings with various cosmetics, dietary supplements and more that include CBD oil. Here are some of the companies with products that have been seen at recent industry shows or have inventory available for retailers to stock.
